I am a Ph.D. Student in Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, working with Dr. Patrick Schaumont in the Secured Embedded Systems lab.
I am interested in how cryptography can be applied to secure Internet of Things. In my research, I design security based on the availability of energy, particularly for resource constrained devices. To this end, I have discovered vulnerabilities that arise from power loss, exploited them, and proposed a security protocol to protect systems from such threats in the event of power loss.
Last summer, I received my Masters in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech. Previously, I obtained my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, India.
